Become a Celebrant

Your guide to become a celebrant

If you’re considering a meaningful new career, choosing to become a celebrant is a powerful and rewarding path. Celebrants play an important role in guiding families and couples through life’s most significant occasions, from weddings and funerals to naming ceremonies and more.

The journey to become a celebrant begins with gaining the right training and understanding of the role. Our warm and supportive training programmes, Endorsed by the NOCN (National Open College Network) help you build confidence while learning the foundations of ceremony writing, presentation, storytelling, and working sensitively with clients. You may also find our page on celebrant training helpful if you want to explore the learning process in more detail.

Once you complete your training, you can start offering ceremonies professionally. Many new celebrants choose to specialise in one area—such as weddings or funerals. If you are drawn to delivering compassionate, thoughtful services, our funeral celebrant courses provide deeper preparation and real-life guidance.

Becoming a celebrant also opens the door to flexible working, personal creativity, and the chance to make a genuine difference in people’s lives. With the right training and support, you can create meaningful, personal ceremonies that families will remember forever.

If you’re ready to begin, take the next step today and explore the training options that fit your goals.

Everyone is different, so my celebrant coaching sessions can be completely tailored to you and your business needs. If you’d like a supportive, non-judgemental space to talk, share ideas and perhaps try some new ways to support your mindset, I’d love to hear from you.

I work with a limited number of celebrants at any one time to maximise the personal support you receive. Sessions are on Zoom, one-to-one. And they’re recorded so that you can keep a copy to go back to anytime. We’ll have 60 minutes per session.

My current fees are £140 per session, or book a block of three sessions for £380.

If you’re ready to explore the idea of us working together and want to ask me a few questions before you commit, I would be delighted to offer a 20-minute taster session. I’ll answer your questions and we’ll see if we feel like a good fit.
