Every celebrant knows the feeling. You’ve just led a ceremony and something about it has stayed with you. A moment. A face. A sentence that turned out to be exactly right, found at the last minute. And there has been nowhere to put it.

The Celebrant’s Journal is that place.

It was created by Dinah Liversidge, founder of the Celebrant Coaching and Training Academy, out of a conversation she has had in different forms with nearly every celebrant she has ever trained or coached. Celebrancy ask us to give a great deal. This journal is a space to give a little of that back to yourself.

What’s inside

The journal is structured around the natural rhythm of celebrancy work, with guided prompts alongside plenty of open space to write in your own way. Inside you’ll find:

• After Each Ceremony – a page to return to whenever you need it, with prompts covering the ceremony itself, the people you served, the moment that landed, your craft and how you felt walking away
• Monthly Check-In – a quiet moment each month to take stock of your ceremonies, what’s stayed with you, and where you’ve grown
• Seasonal reflection pages – for the winter solstice, spring equinox, summer solstice and autumn equinox, marking the year as it turns
• This Work Matters and Ideas I Want to Pursue – spaces to hold onto the thoughts, directions and quotes that need space to sit
• Professional Development – a place to reflect on feedback you’ve received, skills you’ve developed and what’s been feeding your practice
• The Year in Full – an end-of-year reflection to complete whenever it feels right, along with a closing page and a letter to next year’s version of you

There is no right way to use it. You don’t have to fill every page, write after every ceremony, or answer every question. You just have to be willing to pay attention. The journal will do the rest.

Pre-order information

The Celebrant’s Journal is available to pre-order throughout August at £25 (RRP £30). Pre-ordering helps plan the size of the first print run, which keeps the cost down and makes sure enough copies are printed for everyone who wants one. All pre-orders will be despatched in September and a date will be confirmed as soon as we place the order.
